Description

The homeland of Cinchona officinalis is the mountainous parts of South America. It is an evergreen tree with a straight and slender trunk covered with thick gray-brown bark. The height of such trees reaches 20 meters. The crown of the trees has an ovoid shape, very magnificent. The leaves are large, oval, simple in shape. The flowers are yellow, red or pink, not more than 1 cm. The inflorescence is a large panicle.
